Strawberry Spinach Smoothie
This is a simple meal replacement that I concocted because I cannot eat leafy greens and they are so important to our diet! So in order to help me get my leafy greens, I blend them up with some fruit and drink the stuff. It's actually quite delicious!
INGREDIENTS
2 cups raw baby spinach, pressed down as much as possible
3/4 cup unsweetened strawberry slices
1/4 unsweetened Maine blueberries
1 tbsp Pyure
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (with or without vanilla) or you can use coconut milk
2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
Water: You can add 1/4-1/2 cup of water as needed to make the smoothie the consistency you want. I like mine a little "loose" and use closer to 1/2 cup.
Blend all ingredients until they are a homogeneous weird brown color (at least that's what I get). Pour into a large cup and enjoy. You can add ice as you blend for a cooler, shake-like drink.
